If you are opening a construction business and you are going to have a lot and storage space for your tools and equipment, you want to make sure that all that stuff is safe and secure. After all, construction tools and equipment can be very pricey, so you can end up having to spend a lot of money to replace it. There are several ways that you can make sure that everything is as safe as possible.
Fencing
One thing that you can do is to make sure that you have a good, secure fence around your lot. You will want to make sure that it is tall enough that it will be hard for someone to just climb over, as well as being strong enough to make sure that they can't be knocked over. If you go with something like a chain link fence, you may want to have vinyl ribbons woven through the chain link so that it's harder to see through the fence as well as slightly harder to climb. You may also want to have some kind of wire strung around the top to further deter people from getting into your lot.
Security Guard
Another way that you can make sure that your lot, tools, and equipment are safe is to hire a security guard or three to come and patrol your yard for you. If your lot is going to be large enough, you may want to make sure that you have at least 2 guards working each night. That way one can patrol frequently while the other stays in a security office or booth and mans the monitors for any cameras you have installed or something similar. Make sure that you have enough security guards so that everyone can have nights off so you aren't working them 7 days a week. If you don't want to deal with handling everything to do with hiring security guards, you can work with a security agency. They will make sure that you are getting guards who are trained and who have had their backgrounds vetted and checked out. That way you know that you are going to get reliable security guards.
If you have a new construction company and a lot where all your tools and equipment are going to be stored, you want to make sure you are doing everything possible to make sure that those things are safe.
